Summicron 50/2: Leafless

At the beach there was a tree that had a few of its lower branches hanging in front of the foliage, but these ones were leafless, so I did some bokeh testing with my lens, this is at f4

Summicron 50/2: She Can Fly!

We went to the beach and it was probably the last nice day of this year ( 22C!)

And we were right within 36 hours we had 4C in the morning :(

My youngest daughter jumping over a sandcastle

This shot came out nicer than I expected, its difficult trying to capture rapidly moving kids with a manual camera , especially when you are using a lens thats set at f2!

I do like this shot however, beach+kids+warm sun+leica, whats not to like? :)

My eldest daughter literally 8 minutes after we got there, note that she is NOT stuck, as she told us she wasnt, oh wait, she was and she had to be rescued by Mommy, who made them both fall over :) pics to follow!

At my daughters school one of the maple trees was starting to have the tips of the leaves turn red already :()

Elmarit 135/2.8 : Last weekend of summer holidays II

I was invited to visit a friend of mine at her boyfriends house ( also a friend, how convenient) and I dragged my camera with me because I felt like using the 135mm leitz Canada Elmarit as I like the shots it takes IF they work, its a beast to use and finicky as all get out, but when it works it WORKS!

My youngest talking with the other kids, I managed to get this shot of the drawings and her Crocs(tm) in focus

shot at f2.8 ( wide open mcgee!)
